In a partnership no one saw coming (but everyone will remember), Torchy’s Tacos got an assist from Sport Clips to launch its brand-new Torched Bowls with a little nostalgia, a lot of bold flavors, and one legendary haircut.
The deal? Bowls for bowl cuts. Yes, really.
On May 30, walk into any of the 130 Torchy’s Tacos locations rocking:
- A real, freshly shaped bowl cut
- A photo showing your proud mushroom-top phase
- Or just throw on a bowl cut wig, Torchy doesn’t judge
…and you’ll get a free Torched Bowl! No purchase necessary. Just you, your questionable hair choices, and some Damn Good food.
The celebration kicks off with a special content drop over Memorial Day Weekend, starring Torchy himself walking into Sport Clips and confidently asking for “just a little off the top” (spoiler: it’s a bowl cut). The video drops on both brands’ Instagram pages, where fans can get the full story behind the bowls, the cut, and the chaos soon to unfold.
It’s all part and the official kick-off of Torchy’s Tacos newest campaign, Break Up With Your Boring Bowls, which ditches the sad, soggy salad vibes and serves up bold, culinary-curated bowls stacked with fresh ingredients and big flavors.
Torchy’s Tacos launched their new Torched Bowls menu category earlier this year and each one has already cemented their place on the iconic Torchy’s menu.
The Big Tipsy – The Big Tipsy brings the party to the Torched Bowl lineup! Topped with your choice of chicken (fried or fajita) and Torchy’s decadent signature Bacon Bourbon Marmalade alongside cilantro lime rice, black beans, guacamole, mixed cheese, corn relish, crispy onions, chipotle sauce, and fresh cilantro.
The Bonfire Bowl – This Torched Bowl delivers the smoke! With a choice of Jerk Chicken or Blackened Salmon and fresh curated ingredients including cilantro lime rice, black beans, spinach, diced mango, pickled onions & jalapenos, pistachios, and avocado sauce.
The Moontower Bowl – The Moontower celebrates a unique feature of our hometown of Austin’s skyline. Illuminating the fresh & healthy ingredients and topped with your choice of shrimp (grilled or fried), served on top of fresh salad mix, diced mango, black bean & corn relish, sliced avocado, pickled onions & jalapenos, cotija cheese, poblano sauce, and a fresh-made champagne vinaigrette.
