LINKIN PARK Lights Up Austin with Torchy’s Tacos Takeover Ahead of World Tour Debut
Here’s how to score a Linkin Pork taco and win VIP tickets before Saturday’s show!
Austin, TX – Torchy’s Tacos is teaming up with LINKIN PARK for an all-day takeover at their South Congress flagship on Thursday, April 24, just two days before the band kicks off the first U.S. leg of their From Zero World Tour at Austin’s Moody Center on Saturday, April 26.
With doors opening at 9 a.m., fans of all ages are invited to Torchy’s flagship (1822 S. Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704) for the exclusive drop of the Linkin Pork taco. The Linkin Pork taco features slow-roasted pork carnitas, green chiles, pickled onions, Jack cheese, and chipotle sauce, wrapped in both house-made corn and flour tortillas.
The band will be kicking off the weekend by treating the first 100 guests to the Linkin Pork taco and an event-exclusive LINKIN PARK x Torchy’s Tacos bandana on Thursday morning!
Throughout the day, fans can enjoy:
- Prize taco giveaways, including VIP tickets to the April 26 show
- A LINKIN PARK merch pop-up and artwork showcase
- A live DJ set and margarita happy hour from 4–8 p.m.
The collab also includes a fan-focused second-day activation at Mohawk on Friday, April 25, where the first 200 fans will receive a Linkin Pork taco and surprises will continue to unfold.
This marks an exciting (and tasty!) Austin collaboration for LINKIN PARK ahead of the release of From Zero (Deluxe Edition) on May 16. From Zero dropped last year, topping the charts in 15 countries worldwide and featuring #1 single “The Emptiness Machine” – the biggest rock song of 2024. The band just released “Up From The Bottom” as the first taste of the Deluxe Edition.
The band was ecstatic about teaming up with Torchy’s, they immediately designed custom artwork for the event, which will be featured across exclusive merch drops throughout the weekend.
